Your Creator Knows Your Cost

Understanding your value starts with seeing your value the way your Creator does. Recognizing your value begins  with understanding your cost. While others may impose a low price on you, or you may sometimes undervalue yourself, this price does not speak to your cost. 

 

“It’s not what is paid that gives value to an item, but what it costs.” (Releasing Your Potential, 1992., p. 70) Your cost was The Creator’s only begotten Son. Your Creator believes in you and has placed immense value on you. You are as valuable and capable as God says you are. Embracing this value and the confidence the Creator has in your abilities is crucial to unlocking your full potential. 

 

The Divine Perspective on Your Cost

The Creator is the only one who can determine your true cost and the extent of your potential. This potential is intertwined with Your Source.  Remember, the Creator spoke  life into humanity, the animals, and nature - this is the essence of that creation. The Creator designed us to operate in faith. “The light in darkness was not visible before God called it forth, but He believed that light was present in the darkness and by faith, He spoke it into view.” (Releasing Your Potential, 1992., p. 72)

The Creator doesn’t devalue us or discard us because of the mistakes that we have made. Your value does not change in God’s eyes. The Creator still sees you as valuable and capable, despite any flaws or setbacks.

Personal Reflection: 

  • Declare 4 things ( 1 mind, 1 body, 1 spirit, 1 being (social) ) that you know about yourself with confidence.

  • Now for your setbacks let’s put a spin on the game 2 truths and a lie. 

    • Write one ‘setback’ that you have been carrying that has become a lie to keep you stuck in the setback. 

    • Now cross-out the lie, and write 2 truths that cancel this lie. 

  • Now read the truths to yourself at 3 designated times in the day (you can set a reminder in your phone.) 

 

Repeat this for any major negative thinking that is holding you back or keeping you in fear.
