SECTION 2: You Were Born A Business
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” - 1 John 4:4 NIV
You are taking this course because you are a very special type of person. You are the type of person determined to be a blessing to humanity. You know that there is more to you than other people see, or have said that you are capable of. You know that you are called to do something that has never been done. You know that greater is in you than who is in the world.
Yet, you have come to this course because you want to do more.
You want to ascend beyond your current state, but you feel capped or you know you need an extra push. That extra push you seek is the desire to be challenged. With a challenge or some sort of demand on yourself, you know that you can go that extra mile. You know with a push you can finish that business plan, you can find investors to pitch your vision, you can write that book, or file for that LLC but you desire an extra push.
You may feel like you need a light to go off inside of your mind to move you forward.
In the face of pressure or emergency we often find that extra push that we need to go beyond the limits we have in our minds. Those limits may be about our ability, or our validity (whether or not we are the person for the job) or our resources (like time, which we never feel we have enough of) Yet, somehow in the face of pressure or emergency we make the most of whatever ability, validity or resources we have, and in so doing, we realize that we exceeded our own limitations.
This is because those limitations do not exist in the first place, and you already knew that! But did you know that the need you feel for an external challenge or pressure is also just a limit that you place on yourself?
You can make a demand on yourself. You can make the decision to start no matter what you feel that you lack in ability, validity or resources. And you will find that just like when you are under pressure or original assessment of what you possess is far less than you may have initially thought. This is an example of stepping out on faith, and when you step out on faith, reach beyond your comfort zone and defy the limitations that you place on yourself, God matches your efforts with His strength. Remember God promises you that you “can do all things through Him who gives [you] strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
In moments of doubt, periods of delay or sentiments of discouragement cling to His grace, His grace is all you need to transform your weaknesses, perceived or otherwise, to power!
“But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9
Now you must demand of yourself to call the seed inside you forward.
